Product Description
This Fenway Park World Series photo has been framed in reclaimed wood. The photo is a newly printed copy of a 1914 World Series game, played at Fenway Park between the Boston Braves and the Philadelphia Athletics. The Braves swept the series, 4-0. The Boston Braves moved to Milwaukee in the 1950s, and later to Atlanta to become the present day Atlanta Braves. The Philadelphia Althetics moved to Kansas City in 1955, then to Oakland, Ca in 1968. The Braves had abandoned their stadium earlier in the season and were renting Fenway Park from the Red Sox; they won the world series without their home field advantage (albeit they were in their home town).
